Integration, security, and going live

What is the difference between ARIA AMR and a fleet manager?

ARIA AMR is the operations console for the mobile robot fleet: map, missions, diagnosis, workflows, and shift summary. It does not replace the manufacturer's fleet manager, which stays in charge of navigation and traffic: ARIA AMR connects to it and decides what to move, from where, and to where, using your shop-floor place names instead of node codes.

Which AMR robots does ARIA AMR work with?

ARIA AMR connects to the fleet manager, not to individual robots. Compatibility with the model you run, or are evaluating, is checked on the first call: if the connection does not exist yet, we tell you what it takes and how long.

Can I use ARIA AMR for line feeding and end-of-line unloading?

Yes, that is what ARIA AMR is designed for. The transport starts from an operator click, an ARIA Warehouse move, or a line event read by ARIA MES/SCADA: material reaches the station and full loads leave the end of line without a dedicated forklift driver.

Can I set up the robot workflows myself?

Yes. In ARIA AMR you configure routine transports — a recurring route launched in one click — and multi-stop tours, using your shop-floor place names. Map, keep-out areas, and navigation logic stay in the fleet manager's editor: ARIA AMR does not rewrite them.

Do I also need ARIA Warehouse or ARIA MES/SCADA?

No: ARIA AMR also works on its own, for a department that wants to run its fleet without other modules. With ARIA Warehouse, warehouse moves become AMR missions; with ARIA MES/SCADA, the line calls the robot, on the same data.

Can ARIA AMR command the line PLCs?

No, on purpose. ARIA AMR has no PLC access: authority over the fleet is not authority over the line. Every robot command asks for explicit confirmation, and functions are filtered by role — operator, technician, installer.

What happens when a robot stops?

ARIA AMR shows the cause in plain words — battery below threshold, load not verified, blocked area, fleet manager error — and suggests a quick recovery when it applies. Fleet alarms are grouped by cause, with acknowledgement and closing.

How much does ARIA AMR cost?

ARIA AMR is quoted on request: the cost depends on the number of robots, the fleet manager to connect to, and the integrations with warehouse and line. We define it on the first call, on the scope of your department.
